On May 26th, 31 students from North Plainfield High School’s Bridge to Employment class, their teachers and a volunteer group from Johnson and Johnson came to the shelter to spend a few hours helping us. They split into inside and outside groups and went to work. The students that chose to work with the animals gave the dogs and cats lots of extra attention. The cats got groomed and played with and the dogs got extra walks and lots of love. The animals and students all seemed to love it!
The outside group gave PAHS some curb appeal by weeding and planting flowers. The day was hot but the students, teachers and J&J group got the job done!
Everyone did a great job and the animals and humans at PAHS appreciate their help and enthusiasm! Thank you!
